It's not really finished but it will be soon.
Just for watching the work in progress you can watch a trailer here.
EDIT 24/04/2010 : Beta Download is available at the same place.

...

Done with minim library for sound effects and music, and with Procontroll library for using joypads. I'll post a free download link as soon as possible.

Any comments are welcome.

did you used animate gif for the explosions ? (looking for  way to make neat explosion in processing )

I am working on a cave shooter myself - but really at the basic level (not like your work that seems a lot more polished)

let me know for the explosion - will post my work once it's usable Wink

No gif for me : I use a dedicated class to load and store images and to draw each one in sequence

(thx for your comment about my "polished" work <|-)

I think a beta version with only one player (level design and test is more hard for two ... with only one joypad and player at home) and some stuff left in one or two weeks.

I downloaded it...runs, looks really nice, but in the menu the only option seems to be to configure a joypad, which I don't have... any option to play with mouse/keyboard?

I'm sorry but no... The game isn't playable without game controller such XBox for PC one.

Maybe in the final version but you can't really play this kind of game without game controller (progressive speed, 360° shoot,...) : the same level become too hard if you play with keyboard and mouse.

(crappity smacking PC vendors who still not include game controller with all PC)

Embarrassed ... I will add this precision in the game blog page ...
So... Sorry if you can't get a controller to play else give me some feedback later.

Anyway, thanks to be interrest in.

Are antiplastik, Nicolas ATEK or others test the beta version ?
