Setting mouse (x,y) instead of reading it

I am looking to be able to set the x,y coordinates of the mouse pointer.

I have a display from 4d systems and would like to turn it into a pda type thing that communicates via wireless serial from 2 xbee radio, i would like to set the pointer of my mouse by slideing my finger across the touch screen and having the mouse on my computer move. Is there a command that would allow me to set the mouse point even outside of the applet window?
