Orbit MP cam

I need some tips or guidance as it relates to the Orbit MP cam face tracking with video effects.  I can get it to track my head movements fine, raised eyebrows, tilted head, etc.  But for the life of me, it loses me when I open my mouth.  It either doesn't open enough or it doesn't open at all.  When I try to calibrate it, the red dots around the mouth area are larger than my actual mouth.  I try to move in or out, but it adjusts with me.  Is this normal?  Everything is lit wonderful, and the picture quality is great (for non-video effects, naturally) -- but how do I fix this or what are some suggestions?

Thanks.
