just another sound reactive piece Smiley
http://vimeo.com/1693639

this started as an experiment of applying different repulsion from different sources to particles and also to try using direct opengl commands to test for speed improvements (and it really speeds things up Smiley)

you can find the source for this here: www.rui-m.com/p5/airdoomsource you just need to put a "music.mp3" file in your data folder and its good to go Smiley

the version in that source is not the one i used to make the render, this one has less particles and stars and is intended to run in real time and since i couldn't synchronize audio and video using minim i ended up switching to ESS just for the render. i used the code described i this thread if any one is interested on how to sync audio and video for renders: http://processing.org/discourse/yabb_beta/YaBB.cgi?board=Sound;action=display;num=1174169711

another thing that maybe someone can help me, i was trying to put this online working with the microphone but it doesn't work even after signing the applet. i think its a problem with opengl and mic usage, for some reason these dont work well together in an applet. does anyone have any idea why?

thanks
