audiovisual radio set installation

here are two videos of an art installation i did late last year in processing/max msp/reaktor. i wired up the inside of a  n old radio to an arduino and hacked the amp so i could interupt the audio and feed it through max. it sampled the radio signal whenever it heard a percussive noise and built up a dirty great big database of samples that could be browsed by different audio features. the knobs on the set all did stuff. i used processing to make a pretty real time visualization, it was my first time in opengl land.

hope you like
