Today I want start processing but all I got was a clear window with no buttons. Also I can't write any text. I tried the old alpha version with the same result. Some days ago I've installed a new graphic card (Aeolus6600 - nvidea geforce6600). I think this has something to do with the error. Did someone know something about this.

what platform are you on?

my guess of the top of my head is that you're on windows and using the version of processing that doesn't include java, and you have java 1.5 installed on your machine and that's not compatible with the graphics card because it's trying to accelerate things.

of course since i'm not psychic, there's a good chance that's not it at all.

You're right. I use windows and the non java including processing version and I have java 1.5 installed separately. How can I fix the problem?

i *am* psychic! that's gonna make handling bugs much easier.

try downloading the version of processing that includes java, which will be java 1.4 and prolly won't be as incompatible. we don't recommend usinng java 1.5 because of issues like what you ran into:
