is it possible that your mini is using java 1.5 (instead of 1.4) as the default?

getting the info from the system profiler, all Java's listed under applications are version 10 or 11... the Java pluginn Setting are named 1.3.1 and 1.4.2.. should there be two of them?? hmmm

i also get the same error when i´m trying to open a file called Java Preferences, so I think all my java is terrible sick..

another strange thing is that I cant Run my MacBS2 on my mini either. being another software, and not belonging to this forum, I wonder if there is a connection..

yes, it sounds like your java installation is messed up.

you can open up a terminal and type
java -version

to see what it prints out, but it seems as though something else is causing trouble on your system outside of what we can help with or fix.
