Firefox error
Aug 24th, 2005, 2:00am

Using MacOSX and Firefox prevents me from seeign many of the examples working correctly. All of them freeze when I mouse over them, preventing for example any "mouse control" code (drag, draw etc) to run at all.
Same files run OK on Safari, not my favorite browser...

hey guys

I am really curious what could be done in this issue since I am using firefox as my main browser on osx tiger. There should be a possible workaround for this problem since we are waiting for the updates.

thanks.

the workaround is to just use safari when you're browsing examples online on the processing site.

the bug has been fixed in processing itself, so it won't affect anything you write yourself so long as you're using a recent release. it's just that i haven't had a chance to work with casey to re-export everything for the stuff on processing.org.

thanks for the heads up ben.

I was just looking at this example yesterday on safari browser and it seemed a little bit slow to me than it should be.

can you guys check it for me in terms of speed?

thanks in advance.

k, so the examples are one issue (which belongs in this forum) and the freezing of just any old app is another.. turns out there's a bug that's causing stuff to freeze in recent releases of p5, so i've fixed that for rev 93:

other inquiries can go into the appropriate forums..
