do you sometimes feel that you seem to be running out of ideas? do you sometimes feel that everything has been done before? do you sometimes feel that you are a pilgrim to find that original idea? do you sometimes stop thinking? i don't know. but perhaps there's a reason why this is so. perhaps amidst all the darkness, there is a spark of light. ... aha! and there's that light! ... on to developing more on p5. p.s. do mit/medialab people ever run out of ideas or sometimes draw a blank too?

I used to run out of ideas for things to do on Bodytag, when doing things on Bodytag was the focus of what I did. Bodytag is now an outlet, so I don't 'try' to think of things to put on it. Now I have so many things on at once that I find it impossible to run out of ideas for all of them at the same time; they're all in various states of incompletion, so the idea 'paths' are there, and the rest comes from that. I do often feel that "it's all been done before", and it can be disheartening to see that someone's done exactly the same thing you were going to do (for me, seeing mine-control.com was a huge punch in the guts). But now I just take it as validation that my so-called 'crazy ideas' are good ones. My message is entirely unorganised, I apologise.
