hi, this is just another learning experiment i just finished tonight. all comments are welcome. thanks.
 
basic guidelines:
drag the plus signs
press the squares

ahh one more thing i thought i should mention about the code. oddly i when i turned stroke on the rectangles appeared as plus signs. and when i turned stroke off they appeared as regular rectangles. so i just used that to my advantage...

whoa, bewdiful! it's like... a candy wonderland.
 
it seems to shout silence in that way that some applets have, of crying for audio integration.
 
on comment on useability though, would be that it's annoying seeing those large plus signs and only being able to drag them by their very centres.

Wow, this is very nice! It's as good interaction as the 'GUI: handles' example and this one has got some really nice output too!

yes very true. i was actually working on that.

thats the result of me being lazy and tired but ill fix that eventually.

I think the fourth square gives the best output.
And about the sound: I can almost hear the tinkling of the little colored objects...
