Status 6 March 2005

we're hopefully just a couple closed releases away from beta (the next public release, which also won't require people to sign up). the feature set for beta/1.0 is rapidly getting firmed up, which means that the nastier architecture issues are getting ironed out, and we're drawing the line on what can/cannot be done in time. casey and i hope that beta will be this spring, but it all depends on our schedules. we'll be presenting processing in tokyo and at fitc in toronto the first two weeks in april, so we're trying to get it together by then. wouldn't it be lovely to finally announce a real "beta" at the fitc conference then again, any mention of an actual date tends to curse us... previous status report: http://processing.org/discourse/yabb/board_Collaboration_action__display_num_1108330134.html
