Converting a processing program to java

is it possible to run a processing program in java  or convert it to a java? if so how?

first: processing is java. so there is no need for converting anything. what might be helpful is some knowledge of how processing is integrated into the java-framework and how it uses the java-classes. i found the following thread which might explain some of these things to you.
