Accessing batery information.

Is there a way to acces information about my laptops batery like how charged (in %) the batery is, how long will the batrey last and so one. Im using windows now but in the future ill use linux.

Not through the Processing functionality. Which means, if it's possible, you have to go through Java. However it seems even that API doesn't support it directly. So you will need some tricks to get it, if you really, really need it. See:
