introduction to processing - workshop in tokyo
This beginners workshop will introduce the java based processing language as a tool for developing interactive software and customising hardware control. participants will be introduced to the required basics and learn how to write their first program producing animated visual output. Depending on time and interests more advanced concepts (such as OSC, MIDI and DMX control) will be introduced and explored with exercises.
requirements: no previous programming experience required. please bring a PC, Mac or Linux machine with the latest version of processing installed (download at www.processing.org)
