We are about to switch to a new forum software. Until then we have removed the registration on this forum.
Hi everybody, i developed a nice tool for Processing that allows you to see the code behind your sketch running on real time. I made it for my personal purposes, to facilitate organization and optimization of the code, and i think it could be also a good tool for debugging operations. The software is still full of bugs and not completed yet, but since you have access to the source, you can help me to implement new features and make it grow faster! Please give me some feedback! p.s.: in the readme you find instructions to get started, and a more detailed description of the software.
Moved to proper category (I think... you can change, eg. to Share your Work if you prefer, by editing your topic) and changed topic type (that's not a question!).
Note: that's a 39 MB download, because all binaries are packed up in the same zip. I suggest to do several packages, instead.
Moved to the right section and reuploaded in different parts here:

That's sounds very intersting, but this is what I got from that link.
EDIT: sorry it was only a few clicks away. Gonna have a look, thanks for sharing. ( I just should have clicked visitors access)
ok, let me know what you think ;)
you wrote
not sure I understand
can you post a screenshot pls?
Unfortunately it has no Mac version...
_vk, you have the source code, you can compile it with your PDE.
The Linux 64 version worked from the PDE on my Mac :)
BTW if I remember correctly needed Cmd +C to copy code from PDE and Ctrl + V to paste it into VisualCode.
Unfortunately the text on the code screen was too small to read and all of it had a green bacground.
quark, you can use the '+' button to zoom the code and '-' to unzoom.
Chrisir, in the squarepage site link there is a more detailed explaination of how VisualCode works.
However, i suggest to see the readme file, there are much more details about VisualCode and, most importantly, the command instructions.
Thank you.
any response?
Could not try it yet. : )
could you post a screen shot of it running - I still don't get it
