Not able to even start processing..
Changed the laptop, downloaded the Processing but it just does not start... Link to error screen shot : http://imgur.com/0TVHRfY

That's an error attempting to load a contributed tool (if you didn't already figure that much out...). Try removing any tools that you think are causing problems from the tools folder. Assuming that you are upgrading from an older version of Processing...
I get such problem too. a processing face flashes and then dispoints.
another reason were you were not config your java sdk path correctly.
Java path is important in exported applications since they rely on the installed Java (in 2.1, they allow to include it to avoid this), but it is not relevant (I think) to run the PDE, because it has its own Java bundled with it.
