  • Some question:

    1. Would you accept international application ?
    2. If yes then what are arragements for them ? Such accomodation and other things?
    3. Has it got any funding/support from other independent organization ?
    4. You are taking limited number of application, 25 I suppose and the work done by others artists would be the property of CCL/retune so is there any chance you would funds to bear these artists expenses ?
    5. Is there any future oppertunity thereafter to work with retune or CCL or any other organization who are working in same field ?

    Hey, thanks for your questions!

    1) Yes, international applications are welcome

    2) None. Travel and accommodation you would need to organise and pay for by yourself. We can help find something and are well connected (couch surfing maybe) …

    3) No

    4) We do not own any of the results and we do not and will not claim ownership. We only ask for documentation of the results to bring them back into a larger discussion in the fields and be able to "advertise" for future labs.

Our investment is going into the organisation of the space and occasion, providing a high level background and making sure the lab has the right balance between input (lectures and such), experimentation and reflection (discussions). If you do not feel it is an opportunity to spend a week diving into the fields of dance data, movement modelling, interaction, annotation, choreographic thinking, … with a group of likewise interested and highly skilled participants, then you should not apply.

We can offer material to describe the CCLs if you or anyone would want to apply for funding / grants …

    5) There are more CCLs coming up in 2015 and other projects are in the making. Please follow motionbank or nodeforum on Twitter or sign up to (all?) our newsletters to get the latest updates:
