How to find out the beat of a song?
Hello, I want to find out the beat of a song in Processing 2.0, but I don't know how to do this. It would be great, if the analysis would be done in the background (without playing the song while analysing it). I want to know the beat for changing pictures in a video. Can anybody help me?

You mention background analysis of the song, but what if the song changes the tempo in the middle? In that case it would be better to have real time info.
