Update of hellop5js - video page [Proposal/Discussion]

Hola coders. I am Himanshu.

I want to contribute to the revamping and updating of hellop5js - video page in GSOC'18. I see that a lot of libraries are outdated and therefore could be worked upon and updated. Also, a lot of libraries are fetched locally and therefore on every update it just makes for more work. Some loose code practices such as making javascript files internal are also used. I do too propose to remove the Jekyll dependency as it could further ease making contributions for beginners.

Thank you! I think we would also like to produce a new video and feature more contributors and users of p5. So feel free to keep that in mind as you craft your proposal.

Ideas - Updated hello.p5js.org site

Hey guys. So I am just listing out a subset of things that according to me need to be worked upon and which would be listed in my GSOC draft. Some of these were already mentioned in the Idea on https://github.com/processing/processing/wiki/Project-List#-updated-hellop5jsorg-site. Here's the list:

Mark : All of the ideas proposed here are open for discussion. Also other ideas can be suggested on this thread.

1. Adding captions feature
2. Translated captions feature
3. Improved Documentation - Internal and External
4. Deploy on github pages and go down from Jekyll altogether
5. Refactor complete existing codebase
6. Revamp playback options - Several defficiences
7. Make the site responsive - Does not look that good on my phone
8. Introduce Automated system like Gulp
9. Update Libraries - I think it would be better if we pull them from CDN instead of storing locally
10. Modify homepage to add Links to The Processing foundation, p5 library etc.
11. Remove internal javascript and css
12. Make Javascript Object Oriented

As the proposal deadline is nearing, it would be helpful if anyone can give me some suggestions, comments and reviews. I know you guys would be deep down in other stuff too, so I won't say spend a lot of time on it. Just look at the crux, give it a couple of minutes and leave some suggestions, so I could submit the final draft

Thank you very much @kjhollen for your suggestions. I would be submitting my final proposal tomorrow. So @shiffman please provide your suggestions if any today itself. I would be really excited to be working with processing foundation/p5js this summer. I hope I could make some major contributions. :)

I've also made another proposal as my Backup option.

I've also made a number of contributions to p5js web editor, so I am familiar with the code-base and therefore this proposal.

Note: I'd still think Updating the hellop5js would be the way to go for me.

Hola @shiffman. I was wondering if anyone could review my pull requests made on p5js-video.

Specifically, https://github.com/processing/p5.js-video/pull/69 is one of the first I made. It's xs. So wouldn't take much time.
