Development Environment: JavaScript Prototype
Hello, I'm Sreetam Parida currently a IT student about to complete my third year. I came across this project while browsing through the Project list of Processing. I have got intermediate to advanced knowledge in Java as well as JavaScript. Hence, I believe I can help build the prototype of PDE using JavaScript. But I would like to get a better insight of the project and details. So, can you please guide me how can I contribute to this project. I'm looking forward to your response.

I would suggest downloading the existing Processing PDE and spending some time with it as well as taking a look at the current p5.js web editor (https://alpha.editor.p5js.org/). Could you imagine creating an IDE with similar design principles (simplicity, beginner friendly, etc.), but built on top of modern web tools. This is a highly speculative project, the goal is having an IDE that could be more flexible, as well as easier to maintain and contribute to.
