Hello, my name is Tushar Aggarwal. I'd like to work on Algorithmic Composition With p5sound. As the idea suggests,I would like to create examples/demos for the community, through which they can see that music is just beautiful math at play. I'd like to approach this project by defining the notes in a musical scale as variables and displaying how they are interconnected by simple ratios. These can then be thought of as "programming variables" to create music. A simple tune can be created by playing four notes/chords in an infinite loop (like most Green Day songs). In this way most music theory concepts can be introduced from a mathematical perspective by labeling them as algorithms for music generation. We could also leave music generation to patterns we observe in the nature (Golden Ratio, Fibonacci Numbers). I just wanted to know community opinion and if my thoughts are in sync with the proposed problem statement.
