Use Minim and Arduino for LED light show
Hello there!
i want to build a cheap LED Show for my small party room. So i did the tutorial from MissionDuke at this webpage: http://missionduke.com/wordpress/2011/05/arduino-led-light-show-with-music/ the code and the tutorial to this is included in the zip file. http://missionduke.com/sourcecode/arduino/arduino_led_to_music.zip
The code works perfekt, but i have a problem. Minim is catching the sound from the Microphone but i need to display sound which is output by the speakers. I play a song in my favorit player and minim should catch the output. What should i change in the code? Or should i change something on my system audio? If Yes. what? I am on Windows 7 x64.

Hi! Here http://code.compartmental.net/minim/javadoc/ddf/minim/AudioInput.html it says that "The audio that the input receives will depend on the current record source of the computer (such as the line-in or microphone)." Can you change the current input in the Windows audio settings?
Oh well the led lights are really the best lights in the world and the idea to use in your party is so good because led lights are so entertaining in color form, consume less amount of energy and saves your cost as well.
