a new version of processing

hello, if there is a brand new version of processing do i have to delate the old version or not? does it works like an update? I've already download the processing 3.3.6 and before i had processing 3.3.5

• At least for Windows & Linux, Processing doesn't have a proper installation.
• It's merely a compressed big folder w/ all necessary files to run everything.
• For the point of view of the OS, Processing is just regular files thrown somewhere in the file system.
• You can keep the older versions around or manually delete their big folder. Your choice. >-)

And if i have some programs made with Processing 3.3.5 How can i use them with the new version? @GoToLoop

According to PDE's version notes:
https://raw.GitHubUserContent.com/processing/processing/master/build/shared/revisions.txt

There are no significant diffs. between 3.3.5 & 3.3.6 to cause any incompatibilities.

However, you can keep the older versions around till you're sure everything works on latest version.

@noemielee -- past stable versions remain listed on the Processing Downloads page:

...and all past releases remain available on the Processing Releases page if it turns out later that you need to revert to a very specific one.
