Today is the Pi Day:
this is a random-walking of the first (octal) 10 million digits of Pi.
The true image is 5906x3660 pixels.
The max image that i have been able to create is 25000x15000 pixels (100 million Pi digits).

The color means time evolution? Also, how long did it take you to produce 10 and 100 million steps. This was done using Processing?
Kf
how is it a random-walk when you've mapped the digits to directions?
@kfrajer: Yes. Each color go for (10.000.000/12) points. About 15 minutes for 100 million (no exact time :-/). But i processed about 100.000 digit/sec.
I have precalculated the digits with mathematica and saved in a text file.
I have used other math constants (euler, sqrt(2), golden number).
Yes. It's done in processing.
@koogs: the digits of Pi are random ;)
We can find any book in the digits of Pi... if we had the time to look for them :)
Nice!
