Hi
Is it possible to animate a 3D shape and then export this sequence to be modelled in an application like Cinema 4d?
The OBJExport library (http://n-e-r-v-o-u-s.com/tools/obj/) works great for static models but can not create animations
Is this at all possible and if so, how?
If not, is there any other 3rd party application or file format to use to model and apply post-production to 3d shapes made in Processing?
Thanks

Can you say jut a bit more about what type of animation data you are hoping to import to Cinema 4D? Are you talking about moving an object along a path, or parametrizing a mesh, or posing a skeleton...?
Here is a list of all the interchange formats that Cinema 4D supports -- do any of these formats do what you want?

Thanks for your reply Jeremy. I was hoping there would be a format that supports animation but for now I think the only way is to export an .obj file for each frame of the animation.
Then its just about importing it as a sequence into Cinema4D via a plugin like this

If I find another method, I'll post it here.
Thanks
