fullscreen() does not fill my screen

edited January 2017 in How To...

I am running windows 10 and have my toolbar at the bottom of the screen... When I use the fullscreen() function, the Y axis fills up to where the toolbar is, but the x axis leaves an unfilled gap at the left side of the screen... I am not sure but I think its basically keeping the aspect ratio of my screen and shrinking it to allow for the toolbar... Is there a way to change the aspect ratio so that I can keep the toolbar and still fill the rest of the screen with a processing sketch?
