Retina - Text spacing

on MacBook Pro

Am I using text in a wrong way?

That looks like it might be a bug!

Can you please provide the complete minimal example sketch here, and check which specific version number of Processing you are using (on what version of macOS)?

I can have a guess as to the problem - the spacing around the character's font also expands in the no. of pixels, but for whatever reason this happens twice.
Am I right?
