We are about to switch to a new forum software. Until then we have removed the registration on this forum.
Hi All,
A few colleagues and I have recently started a Computational Design Consultancy TypeMe and we've organised a workshop to get people interested in creative coding.
Instead of going over the basics, all the main principles will be introduced along the way, while we create exciting algorithms and shapes that are found in nature.
Check out the video we made for this event: https://vimeo.com/192134166

Let me know if you have any questions. :)

The "TypeMe" and "www.type-me-a-workshop.eventbrite.co.uk" links seem broken, they just redirect back to this page.
Best of luck!
I have fixed the links. Please note full URLs are required including the protocol e.g. http or https it is better to copy the URL from the browser when setting up links in this forum.
That was fast.
Thanks guys :)
Beautiful promo video -- and nice title, it recalls "The Nature of Code."
How long is the workshop? I'm impressed that you are going to try to take beginners from variables and loops all the way up through flocking algorithms in a single workshop session. That is very ambitious.
Thanks for the comment Jeremy.
The workshop is 12 hours long over two days, we've had the overambitious comment a number of times which I guess might be true. However, we've written a full documentation package they can use to go back over and understand it fully.
Well, ambitious doesn't have to mean over-ambitious. It sounds like an amazing undertaking. Good luck with it!
Great effort! Any chance of making the documentation public?
If so, I would be very grateful to you.(Is my grammar right?)
Thanks for the positive comments guys.
We'll be releasing the PDF documentation and possibly a video recording, will keep you updated!
Thank you
@CharlesDesign -- looking forward to it!
@charlesDesign -- hey there! any update on the documentation? I would love to take a look at it :D
