When I try running processing 3.1.2 under 64bit linux I get this error:
/home/mskogly/Downloads/processing/processing-3.1.2/java/bin/java: 1: /home/mskogly/Downloads/processing/processing-3.1.2/java/bin/java: Syntax error: end of file unexpected (expecting ")")
Solution?
By the way, you need a forum for reporting bugs...

Both Windows & Linux versions got a launch file in its root folder.
In Windows it's called "processing.exe".
In Linux I remember it was some ".sh" file. Maybe it's called "processing.sh".
Before running it, you're gonna need to set its "execute bit" though.
Also take a look at the link below if you wanna create a ".desktop' shortcut file too: :bz

Trying to download 2.2.1, 64bit linux, but the download keeps failing. Windows versions works. https://processing.org/download/?processing
Err, now it works. Failed many times yesterday and earlier today.
I am getting the same end of line error when trying to start the 2.2.1 version as well. Strange.
Oh lord, just figured out that this machine is 32bit, not 64 :( Downloaded the correct package and now it runs fine. Shoot me in the face and then delete this thread please .)
