Hello, I was wondering if there might be a way to disable the live Syntax checking provided in processing 3.0. I just noticed that in a project I have that has about 30 some tabs of different classes that I have made, all of a sudden the performance of the editor seems to have dropped. Text sometimes takes a few seconds to complete when I type. I see that java se binary in the task manager suddenly rockets up to 40% cpu usage. I was thinking that perhaps the live checking might be the reason for this, though I don't see a way to disable it.

Thank you. I guess I'll just have to wait till error checking toggle is added back in the preferences.
There is a 'continuously check for errors' button in the preferences.
but that link suggests it was removed for some versions but has been re-added. so try updating if you can't see it.
