Hey Everyone,
I am a college student who is currently working on an final installation for the end of the year media show at my University. My group and I have came up with this idea to project a video that is critical of commercialism onto a coke machine using an Arduino with FSR inputs to trigger different videos that will play. Now I have experience with simple Arduino and using FSR's to trigger certain things. I also have been playing around with Processing and seen it is pretty simple to output a video to the console in a loop. The problem I'm gonna have is communicating the two with each other so the different inputs on Arduino will trigger the different videos in processing. Can someone please help me with the code or point me in the right direction. If someone could post the correct code for me with comments explaining how it works that would be the ideal situation however any help is appreciated.
Thank you very much,
Derek NMHU

Hey Derek, To send messages from your Arduino to a Processing sketch, you simply need to initiate a serial dialogue between the two programs. Instead of trying to explain this myself, I'll direct you to some links that I used to learn the process:

And a textbook called "Making Things Talk" by Tom Igoe is also a good reference.
Thanks for the help
