You should try with rwmidi, from Manuel Odendahl. You will find a compiled version on this post : http://forum.processing.org/two/discussion/12536/does-somebody-have-a-copy-of-the-rwmidi-library I check and it still work with Processing 3.0 If you want to start from scratch, open source is still on GitHub : https://github.com/wesen/rwmidi
