author in list and tagging
edit: sorry I didn't choose a category , so it has gone in default, now I can't move or delete it, if a mod can do it please. That also brought my attention to this, if there was no default category people aways would have to make a choice...
I think that would be nice if in the list of threads, besides the "most recent by" we could see an "asked/started by"*. Also I think that tagging (at least one) maybe could be kindly enforced, like in stackOverflow.
* "started by" is seen while there is no answers, but then is gone...

Yes it would be nice to know who started the discussion from the Al Discussions view.

This 1 I've felt almost immediately when I started to use this new forum.

Moved to General, where I grouped the questions / threads about the forum... (I also changed the descriptions to reflect this).
And, yes, I also miss not to see the original author's name, it would ease to spot duplicates, among other things.
There other remarks are good, too.
The problem is that hacking the code of the forum isn't trivial...
I just noticed that in forum's mobile site there is both, the author and the last poster. If you disguise your "agent" in safari and open the forum as an iphone you can see this.
