Tool Transition for 3.0

Processing 3.0 went to beta last week, meaning that it is now the default download on the site. We've made lots of exciting changes in this release, including a fully rebuilt rendering engine, a new editor featuring a debugger and auto-complete, a unified contributions manager, and much more.

Many Libraries will still work, but others and all Tools and Modes will require some work on your end. This may be a simple rebuild or a few code fixes. Changes to Processing 3.0 have been carefully outlined on the wiki. Please read through that page, paying special attention to the section on Libraries, Modes, and Tools.

Note that the .properties file has also been overhauled, with updated keywords, and new fields for compatible Processing revisions. Please make sure to use the latest versions when updating your Library, Tool, or Mode. A Mode template is on its way, be in touch if you'd like to be notified of its release.

We really hope to see your contribution move forward with Processing 3.0. As always, don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
