Hello,

remember the Windows 3D-ScreenSaver with tubes?
I built a similar program.
Use Space and r in the program.
I am looking for feedback and improvements!
It doesn't work in the browser but you can download it from

I can see it in the browser, it doesn't work for you? It is kind'a breaks when you scroll though, because of opengl in java applet..

Have you tried P3D if the quality is still good will solve the scrolling problem.

Nice one, I see why you wanted the 3D line stuff now.

I am very concerned about that.

I also uploaded the applet but it doesn't work in the browser.

couldn't see it at work on windows, could only see the last section of pipe flash up, as if it was clearing screen every frame. (openprocessing did turn off opengl uploads a while ago, perhaps this is why). works fine here at home, superior linux technology, obv.

have been fascinated by that screensaver since i first saw it

your version intersects though - pipes pass through other pipes. doesn't look quite as nice

my version (written in C / opengl using xscreensaver framework and which *spins in 3d* as it grows, take that microsoft):
