Light sculpture for public spaces

F-12 is a light sculpture, based on the billboard standard DIN F12. Instead of commercials, there are 1525 lighting points, reacting to people infront of it. "F-12" is about the relationship of people to their urban environment.

Technical explanation:
The master program of F-12 is build with processing. It gets the data from 14 infrared distance sensors, which detect people in front of F-12 at distances from 0 to 4 meter. The program calculates visual interactions and sends the image data to two Arduinos which controls the LED's, and send back the sensor data.
