New starter but very interested in data

Thanks for reading and hopefully replying

Completely new to all of this programming but very interested in the methodology of how you visualize data.

Some of the exhibition is amazing, I would like to understand the work that goes into it.

I have some data I would really like to try and visualize as part of a project I am working on.

It does involve time and also value variation of stock figures and classes and other sub-groups.

I am accountant but this does really interest me.

Am I in the right place for this request?

Kind Regards

Oliver

I suggest Processing: A Programming Handbook
for Visual Designers and Artists by Reas and Fry, as an incremental introduction to programming to achieve various visual effects.

Fry's Visualizing Data might be a useful after you are comfortable coding.  There are descriptions of both books at http://processing.org/learning/books/.
