manipulating an image based on white space
Nov 7th, 2009, 9:09am

I am guessing this is the relevant area to place this inquiry. Mods, please correct me if I am wrong.

I am not entirely certain that processing is the most suited to this query, but we shall see.

A good friend of mine produces black and white still images, built up from stippling (dots), most at the size of less than millimeter.
These images have thin white space outlines that run throughout.
I will try at some point to get example of his work if anyone is interested.

Basically, I am wondering is it possible to use vectors from the white space in order to warp/animate his artwork?

Looking forward to hearing from anyone. Peace,

Michael

i mean using the white space as vector-based lines to animate the rest of the image around. to move his art based on itself...

i wil ltry to get you an example, which will most certainly clarify things a little...

thanks for the interest Smiley
