Why is processing talking in third person?

The Sketchbook folder no longer exist Processing will switch to the default sketchbook location and create a new sketchbook folder if necessary. Processing will then stop talking in third person.

What does this mean?

i receive it when i first open processing. When it is open and i go under File; Sketchbook and Examples are grey. I have the brand new mac book pro. I really want to use this program it looks SWEET. so let me know what i need to do to get it to work. you may need to dumb it down a little bit, not the greatest with computers.  Thanks for the help

Is Processing installed on a writable drive?  (Not running from a disk image?)  Processing needs to have access to a writable /sketchbook/ directory..Ben hopes this helps!  ;)
