Hello all! I put this up on my website today, maybe of interest:

fib is a cloth and sheet simulator whose goal is to aid the conceptual realization of tensile structures and support experimentation wih free-form structures in general. In fib, form creation is based on the manipulation of a surface in 3-dimensional space, which conforms to geometrical constraints of real world cloth or sheet materials.
In fib, the flexible surface is modeled as a 2-D isostatic frame, represented by nodes and springs between nodes. Nodes can be moved and fixed to any position. The model reacts to interaction by adapting to loads applied by the user, in order to maintain its integrity.
