Blossom Tree Gen

Here is another entry into the world of tree generation. In this app I wasn't going for correct branching structure, nor realism, but an organic feel from the way it grows. The 3d look was a happy accident when trying to create black borders around the branches. I used the background gradient code from Luca Ongara's Cherry Blossom Generator which was very inspirational.

Let me know what you think!

oh it looks nice.
you should try out some 3d generation. use the algorithm to branch and draw a cylindrical mesh around that path. then quads for leafs. billboarded or not depending on how dense it will be and how good it looks

in case u need some help to draw along your path you might look into this: http://www.pixelnerve.com/downloads/processing/RibbonCylinder.pde

nice
