Help with Genetic Algorithm library

For a personal Project i plan to work with some Genetic Algorithm.
I found the promising library be st33d.

I red trough the links and references about GA and understand the idea behind it. But have some problems to use the librarie itself and set up a small working project.

Is there anybody who would help me and support me while i try to figure it out myself with answering some of my questions maybe by mail or IM... Anybody who has done that before?

Like i said, im not looking for somebody to do my work. Just for somebody who helps me to understand it myself.
I will still pay you for your efforts and time you spend.
