Why remove old versions of Processing?

I understand that there have been significant changes and that the old versions can't be supported, but why remove them entirely?  Couldn't there just be a "no longer supported" warning?

I still use version 135 for web applets, because some people (on G4 TiBooks) can't load the ones I export with the newest version.  And for others (on PC) the new default openGL blending never goes away, even with:

 hint(DISABLE_OPENGL_2X_SMOOTH);

I'm sure this was a considered decision, but I'm puzzled.  Still thankful for the new version of Processing!

you can find some of the older versions simply by googleing
http://wiki.id.tue.nl/creapro/SoftwareDownloads?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=processing-0135.zip
but you are right, its a good question, why they are no longer available...

hmm, thanks, but that forum link doesn't work for me...and the download -- is it for PC? -- I was actually looking for an old Linux version, and I can't Google anything up.
