We closed this forum 18 June 2010. It has served us well since 2005 as the ALPHA forum did before it from 2002 to 2005. New discussions are ongoing at the new URL http://forum.processing.org. You'll need to sign up and get a new user account. We're sorry about that inconvenience, but we think it's better in the long run. The content on this forum will remain online.

Wiki the Hacks section
Apr 4th, 2009, 7:19am

While not listed on the menu (not sure why), most of us are aware of the Hacks section which provides examples to help users make the most of Processing.  However, some of the examples are now outdated and don't work on the new version as written, some examples are missing, and overall it could be much more complete and useful.  I'm sure there are some great examples that people could post on different areas.  The wiki format would also allow others to update the code, so we can more easily learn from one another and provide the best examples.  Like the hacks, it would be category based, easy to navigate, and be specifically for providing examples of a technique.
