We closed this forum 18 June 2010. It has served us well since 2005 as the ALPHA forum did before it from 2002 to 2005. New discussions are ongoing at the new URL http://forum.processing.org. You'll need to sign up and get a new user account. We're sorry about that inconvenience, but we think it's better in the long run. The content on this forum will remain online.

Group for Processing Educators

This is a follow-up to Ira's previous post about a forum for educators using Processing (http://processing.org/discourse/yabb_beta/YaBB.cgi?board=Collaboration;action=display;num=1236891542)

I'm happy to announce that Ira Greenberg and I have started a google group for Processing educators!

http://groups.google.com/group/processing-educators

A thread that came up again and again at the ART+CODE conference -- there are plenty of resources for new Processing programmers looking to learn, but very few resources for new Processing teachers looking for resources on getting started using Processing in the classroom.

We hope this google group will be a good starting point.  Happy to take suggestions about the best way to collect useful information and allow healthy discussion.

So teachers, feel free to come on by, ask questions, discuss syllabi, share links to student work, etc!
