Growing particles
Dec 8th, 2008, 10:47am

Hello!
I have some code with a 100 particles flowing around. I want to make them grow and shrink on their own, each one for himself. Just to make it look organic and living. I know this funktion has to do with a sinus curve, but i dont get it exactly. Anyone can help me out please??

Cheers

The function you're looking for is Sine. (A sinus is a part of your nose).

You would need to come up with a custom particle class to make particle objects that are easy to give independant behaviour to.

Lol, I used sinus word too, because that's how we write these functions in French: sinus, cosinus, tangente, cotangente, etc.

And yes, it is also the word for the nose part...
