Hullo,

Some time ago I managed to get my hands on data on EU public procurement and all the addresses have now been geocoded. I've done a short animation -- using Processing -- that shows the spread of procuring authorities as the EU expands (I also have the coordinates of the contract winners, but they are not shown at the moment).

I had a lot of trouble getting good country borders for the animation. My trials and tribulations (and the solution) are chronicled here:
