Default location for logfiles & crashlogs

I carefully read the Troubleshooting Page.

As of now, this page tells to look for logfiles at <Processing Folder>/lib/stderr.txt|stdout.txt or at /tmp/buildNNNN.tmp/

But where is the proper logfile if the whole Processing application freezes

After answering my question please add a section to the Troubleshooting Page with some unambigious name like "Location of Logfiles"! I have spent 4 hours with Google site:processing.org and the Forum Search Tool and did find anything useful under terms like "log file default location path" etc...

As of Processing 1.0.4 on MacOSX, all its components reside in an .app Bundle at:
/Applications/Processing.app/Contents/Resources/Java/lib/
I can no longer find stdout.txt and stderr.txt.
Neither in /tmp/buildNNNN.tmp/ nor <Processing Folder>/lib/

The preferences:
~/Library/Processing/preferences.txt
Still have the properties:
console.output.file=stdout.txt
console.error.file=stderr.txt

But to where are these paths relative???
