Active Stereo using OpenGL

Greetings, all. I'm new to Processing, and would like to add Active stereo to my recent OpenGL processing app. I read the anaglyph stereo bit, which seems somewhat relevant, but I think for active stereo I would need to explicitly set up two cameras and render the output of each into a separate framebuffer. I'm not sure how to do that.
Anyone have thoughts/ideas?
