Srs,
i dont know if here is the right place to submit this topic but here i go.

I need to set a machine to work with processing.

Any ideas ?

What machine are you talking about? Computers? Any computer will do the job since Processing is based on Java and Java is cross-platform. Just install Processing and run your code.

A Windows XP machine with a fast processor and decent graphics card is most ideal:

And for what it's worth, multi-core machines won't make much difference unless you're using multiple threads in your code.

The G5s at my old uni had a spooky ability to run Processing real fast.

The Dell beasts we had had loads of graphics card issues.

I'm on an Asus laptop with XP and it seems to poot along fine.
